Beautiful Tagaytay.. and Amazing Philippines
Part of the itinerary for my trip to the Philippines this time includes a visit to Tagaytay, a highland area in the province of Cavite (that’s where BigBroMonkeyNeil is from!). The moment I heard that Lowell was going to be bringing a bunch of Prof Zone people to an active volcano, I was hooked, and declared that I was going along with them.
Then, yesterday, he dropped a bombshell.
I’m setting a criteria for going to Tagaytay. Those who want to go must eat balut. Balut in exchange for a visit to Tagaytay.
He proudly announced that to me and I freaked out. No more balut!
For the uninformed, this is what balut looks like:

Unhatched ducklings. That’s right. That’s baby Donald right there. I mean seriously, eat that?
So I thought, oh, okay, maybe I can preserve my sanity (and humanity) and just not go to Tagaytay.
But curious ol’ me just had to Google up images of Tagaytay. Lo and behold:

I hyperventilated.
Carol: I just googled up pictures of Tagaytay.
Carol: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Carol: I WILL EAT BALUT!!!!!
Lowell: HAHAHAHA!
There! I will trade a duck’s life and my humanity for sights as spectacular as the above. Heehee.
I’m coming, beautiful Tagaytay!
On a side note, I do wish I had the time and money to visit Siargao Island.

And not to mention, El Nido, Palawan Island.

Wahlau! So beautiful till can die okay!!!
I can’t wait.
